No Contract to Sign

When you register for private lessons at Mr Music, we do not have you sign a contract. Simply pay for your first four lessons in advance. At the first lesson of each calendar month we will ask you to pay for that calendar month in advance.

No Registration Fee

Mr Music does not charge a registration fee when you sign up for lessons.

 

Discount Rate: $20.00 per Half-Hour

Most of our students attend lessons on the same day and at the same time each week. When you schedule lessons four or more consecutive weeks, (same day - same time) you qualify for our discount rate.

 

Even though you are paying month-to-month, we will keep you on the schedule, assuming that you want to continue, until you cancel your lessons. We do this so that you will not lose your time slot.

 

Standard Rate: $25.00 per Half-Hour

We highly recommend weekly lessons but if this is not possible you can schedule lessons any time there is an instructor available for your instrument. Here are some scenarios where this can be beneficial:

• You want to try a lesson before you commit to a weekly schedule.
• You travel often for business or other reasons and need a very flexible schedule.
• Your work schedule changes from week to week.
• Your child can attend every other week due to custody situation.

In any case, you may always call in to schedule a lesson at any time or click HERE to schedule online.

 

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel any scheduled music lesson by e-mail or by phone and your account will not be charged for that lesson as long as it is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. We also accept cancellations left on the after-hours voice mail.

 

If you must cancel a lesson with less than 24 hour notice, your account will be charged at the same rate as if you attended the lesson. In order to be fair and consistent with everyone, we do not make exceptions for illness, emergencies, etc.

 

When you must cancel a lesson, please call us to schedule another lesson as soon as possible so that you or the student do not miss the entire week. Consistency is of utmost importance in learning to play a musical instrument.

 

We do not offer free "makeup" lessons.

Permanent Cancellation of Lessons

Most of our students take lessons for an extended period of time. We have several students who have been with us for more then three years! For those who are serious about developing their musical skills, we recommend a minimum of two years of weekly private lessons.

 

Since you are not under contract, you may cancel your lessons at any time. No advance notice is required, but please be aware that we do not refund money paid for lessons. For example, if you have paid for the next four or five lessons and find it necessary to cancel, the unused money in your account will remain in your account and may be used at any time toward lessons in the future, or any products or services at Mr Music.
