PIANO & VOICE, KEYBOARD,
SINGING LESSONS, VOCAL COACH
Olga
Seibel's love for music started when she was 5 years old,
and has grown into a great passion. She gained her
sixteen-year music education while growing up in Russia,
graduating from the Saint Petersburg conservatoire. Olga has
enjoyed teaching children and adults piano and singing,
immediately after completing her third year in the
conservatoire. She has had seventeen years of teaching
experience since then. She also worked as a singer for 4
years in Saint Petersburg Academic Chapel, performing
soprano both as a member of chorus team and solo.
Her teaching methods include,
along with piano and singing, all elements of musical
grammar, theory, and art of performance.
She believes that instead of simply teaching a student an
instrument, the instructor should help the student to
discover their own talents and boost creative development.
This will allow the student to enjoy the art of expressing
themselves through the music they play.
GUITAR, ELECTRIC,
ACOUSTIC, BASS
Frank
Spinuzza has been playing guitar for over 25
years. Influenced by the fluid styles and essence of
progressive rock and jazz performers, such as, Al Di
Meola, Pat Martino and Wes Montgomery, he obtained
his Associates in Art degree in music and a business
degree from Roosevelt University. Frank has played
with many local bands and appreciates many of the
styles of guitar playing.
Studying music
from an early age, Frank has versatile teaching
methods which combine theory, methods, and
techniques that help music students build musical
awareness and understanding which help establish
real confidence to playing guitar.
PIANO & VOICE, KEYBOARD, SINGING
LESSONS
Kristin Broyles grew up
in a family where music was just as important as eating or
breathing. The family traveled to many churches performing
as a southern gospel group, The Sandiford Family. She began
piano lessons at 3 years old and continued until the age of
18. Her teaching experience started under her mother's
tutelage, when she was old enough, taking on some of her
mother's younger students. From there she branched out and
began teaching private lessons. Since then, she has had many
students, teaching all ages.
Although she has had many
musical experiences and accomplishments, teaching piano
continues to be a passion of hers. She strives to make every
lesson a positive experience and to learn each student's
unique learning style and teach them accordingly.
She uses
positive reinforcement for practicing and tries to keep her
students as motivated as possible. She place great emphasis
on theory and classical music. She wants her students to
learn not just the notes of the music but everything else
that goes along with it, such as dynamics, voicing, and
tempo.
When not teaching, Kristin enjoys going to church to get
closer to her Lord, spending time with her husband and 4
year old son, and scrapbooking.
“Music is enough for a lifetime, but a lifetime is not
enough for music."

DRUMS & PERCUSSION
Sean Holmes
has been playing drums and percussion since 2001 and enjoys
teaching private lessons.
I am well versed in playing all forms of drum kits and
orchestral drums (including teaching both matched and
traditional grips), as well as xylophone/bells/marimba,
steel pan drums, hand drums (bongos, djembes, etc.), and
other forms of auxiliary percussion instruments. I teach
several different musical styles, including but not limited
to: Classical, Jazz, Rock n' Roll, Reggae, Latin rhythms,
Electronica/Techno, New Orleans drumming, Blues, and Hip
Hop.
I am more than willing to work with school band instructors
on their pre-established curricula as well as developing a
unique curriculum of my own for each student based on their
strengths and needs. I am currently playing drums for a band
called
We're All Virus. We are in the process of producing a
full length album with Evan Coffman of Starlight Studios,
and are currently seeking national record label recognition.
Sean currently attends Florida Gulf Coast University, with a
major in Psychology a minor in Philosophy.

Jim Shinn is a native of
Fort Myers and started his music education in the Lee County
School System. He played trumpet in the sixth grade and
continued all through high school. Jim took up the guitar at
age thirteen. Although mostly self-taught, he has taken many
private lessons over the years. One notable guitar and voice
teacher was Alan James, lead guitarist and singer for Roy
Orbison.
In the year 2000, Jim became the
Praise Band Leader and guitarist at Cypress Lake United
Methodist Church. He is currently playing Bass guitar at
Good News Baptist Church in Fort Myers. Although he holds an
Associates Degree in Business Administration, his passion is
helping students to have a fun and exciting experience,
while learning to play guitar.
GUITAR, PIANO, VOICE,
BANJO, UKULELE, MANDOLIN
Dennis Cassella comes
from a family of musicians. At an early age he began
playing the trumpet and french horn. He quickly realized
however that his first love was guitar.
He attended Millersville University where he studied
music education with an emphasis on guitar pedagogy.
Dennis has taught for more than twenty years and
performed all over the United States and Canada. He has
opened for bands such as the Tramps and worked for ten
years as a studio musician at Caprice International
Records where he released his first recording project.
He is adept at playing and teaching guitar, piano,
mandolin, bass, banjo, and ukulele.
Dennis studied classical
guitar while pursuing his music education degree at
Millersville University. He has studied and taught many
styles of music from classical to jazz to rock and roll
to a wide range of students and believes that no one
method is appropriate for all students and customizes
his lessons to the student while still maintaining the
need to teach the core elements of technique and theory.

Information and Recommendations
Your instructor will recommend a
course based on your experience and personal goals. This
almost always includes a lesson book that you purchase
separately and take home with you. Please be sure to bring
your book with you to each lesson. With the exception of
piano and drum students, you will need to bring your
instrument with you to each lesson.
Practice at home is the key
to your success!
Mr Music offers the very best
experience available in the Fort Myers area for private
music lessons. Our instructors are top-notch professional
private instructors with years of experience. However, there
is no "magic pill." The key to your success is your
commitment to attending your lessons consistently and
equally important, your practice schedule at home. If
possible, set aside a particular time each day that you
devote to practicing on your instrument. You should be
practicing at least 15 to 30 minutes each day, at least five
days a week.
Accessories & Books
If you don't already have a
music stand at home, please purchase one at Mr Music. We
carry a good variety of stands ranging from $19.50 to
$79.00. For all instruments other than piano/keyboard, we
also highly recommend an electronic tuner. For all
instruments we recommend that you have a metronome. This is
a device to help you develop your timing skills. We have a
great selection of these devices in stock at all times.
You need to have an instrument
at home on which you can practice each day. If you need an
instrument, we will do everything possible to help you get
the best value in just the right instrument. We sell and
repair many of the most popular musical instruments.
When 30 Minutes is Not
Enough
Our experience tells us that
a 30 minute lesson once a week is ideal for most
students. However, if you feel
that you would benefit from more lesson time, please be
sure to discuss this with your instructor. He or she
will provide an honest assessment and make the
appropriate recommendations.
